The parents allow their children to eat the greasy artificial food, even though they know it is bad for them. In the home, parents are the ones who feed the children.

But is it really the fast food companies' fault or the customers who consume their food? Nowadays, the quickest meal a busy person can get is either a fruit and some water or food from a fast food restaurant. Due to the fact that they want a cheap meal that will fill them up, they will go with the fast food restaurant.

In a video titled "The Dollar Menu," a family shows that a piece of fruit can and will cost more than a burger from the dollar menu, candies, or even sodas and they blame their busy schedule for their lack of healthy choices.

The father in the video has diabetes and their concerned that their youngest daughter may get it as well since they mostly eat fast food meals. Fast foods are the main ones to get blamed for a person's obesity. People need a certain amount of calorie intake depending on their age and weight but fast food meals have caused them to eat more than their intake which leads them to become obese.

Along with being blamed for obesity, fast food restaurants have also gotten the blame for a person's diabetes problems, mostly among young children.

Diabetes is a well known epidemic and anyone can get it and it can be also be a result from obesity. Due to their obesity, most children end up getting Type 2 diabetes because of constantly consuming fast food meals.

Diabetes can also take a big toll on a family's income. The advertisement shown on TV by fast food companies are the main cause for people going to fast food restaurants whether it's to try a new type of food that came out or simply because the food they saw on TV provoked them to go get it and it provokes more young children than adults.

Not everything seen on TV is real though, for example a Big Mac from McDonald's will look nicely made and perfectly stacked to eat but once ordered, it's very sloppy made and a messy burger once it's being eaten. Throughout my whole life I have suffered from body weight and as a young boy I blamed the fast food companies for my weight problem.

I have come to a realization that it isn't really their fault, it's my parents' and my own fault for choosing to buy and consume their products. Lately I have made better decisions for myself by cutting down and avoiding fast food restaurants because I knew if I continued with my old ways I will end up having health risks.

Although a bit more expensive, I also began to eat healthier foods. I do blame the companies for not providing labels back in the day though and also for adding extra unnecessary things to their products.

I believe it's not a fast food restaurant's fault for someone's obesity, they could easily avoid that by not buying their meals and spending a little more money to buy something healthier.
